First aid for children -
Our support for little heroes
For us, social commitment is more than a duty—it's an expression of our responsibility to the community. That's why we're delighted to support an extraordinary project that teaches children important first aid skills, even at primary school age. The coloring and activity book "First Aid for Children—Learning to Help Through Play," developed by the Bielefeld Emergency Medicine Association and K&L Publishing, combines knowledge and creativity. It was designed specifically for primary school-aged girls and boys and, with lovingly illustrated pictures and easy-to-understand text, conveys age-appropriate knowledge about dealing with emergencies.
What is it about?
The book follows siblings Mario and Olivia and their dachshund Waldi on exciting adventures, where children learn about important topics such as burns, tick bites, poisoning, heatstroke, and shock. This content not only teaches practical first aid skills but also builds children's self-confidence and confidence. Teachers, educators, and parents can easily incorporate the content to help children learn important basics together.
Our contribution
Thanks to the support of local businesses, this book is being distributed free of charge to elementary school children in Bielefeld. We are proud to be part of this effort, as we see imparting first aid knowledge to the youngest members of our society as a valuable contribution to increased safety in everyday life.
